1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User", or "You") and SpaceWa regarding your access to and use of our website, e-commerce storefront, and related products and services.

By browsing our website, registering an account, or placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18 years of age, you may browse our catalog only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Product Representation & Wall Mounting Requirements

We make every effort to display the colors, wood grain textures, and dimensions of our furniture accurately. However:

• Natural Finishes: Because natural engineered wood and laminates feature organic textures, minor variations in grain direction and stain depth are inherent characteristics and not defects.
• Wall Mounting Responsibility: SpaceWa wall-mounted desks require proper anchoring into solid masonry, brick, or reinforced concrete structures. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their target wall surface is structurally sound and free from concealed electrical conduits or plumbing lines prior to drilling.
• Weight Limitations: When anchored in strict conformity with supplied hardware, desktop surfaces are load-rated up to 45 kg of evenly distributed weight. Exceeding recommended weight boundaries voids product warranty coverage.

3. Pricing, GST Invoices & Promotional Coupons

All prices listed on SpaceWa are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR ₹).

• Goods & Services Tax (GST): In accordance with Indian tax statutes, applicable GST (typically 18% on wooden and metal furniture) is calculated and displayed prior to checkout. An official tax invoice is generated upon dispatch.
• Promotional Codes: Coupon codes are subject to specific validity dates, minimum order values, and single-use constraints. SpaceWa reserves the right to modify or revoke promotional offers at its discretion in the event of suspected coupon exploitation.
• Pricing Errors: In the rare event of a typographical or technical glitch resulting in an obviously incorrect product price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue an immediate 100% refund.

4. Order Placement & Acceptance

Upon completing checkout, you will receive an automated order confirmation via email and SMS detailing your Order ID. This acknowledgment signifies receipt of your order request but does not constitute formal acceptance. Order acceptance and contract finalization occur when the consignment is packaged, tagged with an Airway Bill, and dispatched from our fulfillment atelier.

5. Payment Terms & Security

We offer multiple verified payment avenues via our authorized payment aggregator, Razorpay:

• Prepaid Options: Unified Payments Interface (UPI via Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), and Net Banking across major Indian banking institutions.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Available in select serviceable pincodes. To prevent frivolous submissions, COD orders may be verified via an automated WhatsApp or telephonic verification call prior to dispatch. A nominal cash handling fee may apply as specified at checkout.

6. Shipping, Title & Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for all furniture units purchased from SpaceWa transfer to the customer upon delivery by our designated logistics partner. Because all our shipments are 100% transit-insured by SpaceWa, any damage caused in transit will be repaired or replaced at no additional expense provided damage is reported within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Product returns, replacements, and refunds are governed strictly by our official Return & Refund Policy. Customers hold a 7-day window from verified delivery to report manufacturing defects or transit damage.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All architectural designs, mechanical hinge configurations, imagery, brand graphics, product names, logos, written guides, and software code on this website are the proprietary intellectual property of SpaceWa protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and industrial design legislation. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

10. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

In the event of any disagreement, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or purchases made on our website:

1. Informal Consultation: The parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith through direct consultation with the SpaceWa grievance team for a period of thirty (30) days.
2. Arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be in India, and proceedings shall be conducted in English.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to the arbitration clause above, the competent courts having jurisdiction over our registered workshop address (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) shall hold exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings arising hereunder.
